We understand our clients and their stakeholders are the experts at what they do. As consultants, our role is to use effective tools, resources and processes to help you bring together the right people and the relevant data in order to effectively plan, strategize, and execute transformational changes within your organization. Whether it’s a comprehensive, multi-year strategic plan, program enhancements, or leadership development, we help you gain perspective and clarity necessary to make and implement key decisions.
Like many nonprofit leaders, Kristen has worn several hats. As the service and programs supervisor and manager for a fraternal benefit society, she was responsible for administration of member programs and benefits. In just a few years, she transformed the culture of the team to one where everyone felt empowered to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions and make decisions.
She’s been a project owner and lead for several software implementations. Kristen designed multiple job training programs, including an on-the-job training program for individuals pursuing manufacturing careers and a health care bridge program. Both initiatives involved partnering with other community organizations, educational institutions, and funders. She was tapped by the fraternal benefit society to lead the development of a K-12 blended learning (online and in-class) financial literacy program and implementation of several software applications.
Kristen has managed a range of budgets. She was instrumental in the growth of one organization from seven full-time staff and a $750,000 budget to 16 full-time staff and a $2.5 million annual budget within the first year of employment. Kristen managed a $12-15M budget in her most recent role, and during a period of budget freezes and cuts. Through collaboration and ingenuity, the team was able to deliver the same or better results with fewer resources.
